Concert: George Clinton/House of Blues

John, Heather, and I head to House of Blues in Anaheim (on Disney grounds) to see George Clinton and the P.Funk All-Stars.

Amazing(!) show with a lot of energy from the crowd. A lively bunch of girls put on a chorus line on one of the bars, while the act on stage ran a steady stream of funk for a solid 3 hours before the bassist changed his axe for the first time.

Concert: Joe Satriani/Wiltern

Back to the Wiltern we go! Kristin and I see Joe Satriani in concert.

This time, we went with Platinum passes, which let us go backstage before the concert, watch Eric Johnson's sound check, sit in the 4th row behind the pit, and meet Joe Satriani after the show.

Concert: In The Mood

My grandparents and Kristin and I attended a presentation of In The Mood, a terrific swing concert. My cousins Doug and Cindy Elliot performed in it.
